Cloud Connectors should be installed high on a wall or on the ceiling to maximize the capacity of the device and avoid interference from other equipment or products in the store.

Claiming is how newly purchased devices from DT are activated and added to the project.
IMPORTANT: All devices should be claimed before they are permanently mounted to a surface.
Once the correct store is selected, click the Install New Device button to begin.
Select the Cloud Connector Asset
Scan the QR code on the back of the device. Once the code is scanned, click the continue button at the bottom of the screen
Optional: Add a brief description of where the Cloud Connector is located to help someone find the equipment if it needs service. Click continue.
The device will update configuration and show the image below when complete. Click install new device to select the next asset to install.
Cloud Connectors can be installed using the included mounting hardware or by utilizing the adhesive sticker on the mounting plate on a smooth, clean & dry surface.
IMPORTANT: All devices should be claimed before they are permanently mounted to a surface.
Plug one side of the AC power cord into the back of the battery backup and the other to the wall outlet. Press the power button on the battery backup to turn the device on. Plug one side of the the USB-A cord into the back of the battery backup and the other into the back of the CCON. Observe the status indicator light on the CCON (pictured below)
